Carefree's Latest News 2

Big news is that Liza did her teeter in Standard on the first try and with no stress behaviors. If her handler had not sent her off course, we would have had a Q. She went 6 for 8 this weekend. Liza is closing in on her C=ATCH--CPE's equivalent of a MACH

Laurie and Aubrey were at the Skokie Valley, IL, shows were Aubrey won her puppy class both days. On Saturday she won her Puppy Sweeps class and went on to a Puppy Group 4!! The judge was very complimentary--and even asked for a picture of her!

Tim & Julie were in Cincinnati. Though Julie disputes it--I say Boxcar Billy gets the MVP for today as he celebrated his 12th birthday by earning his first QQ on his PACH and 36 points!! Landon earned a QQ today (I think #4 on his MACH3) and a Jumpers Q on Saturday for a total of 46 points. Speedy showed today only and earned a Jumpers Q and 6 MACH points.

Conformation Joyce was off at the St Cloud, MN shows this weekend and her little 7 month old Patrick daughter, Ella, earned back to back major reserves.

Julie heads out this week for the Eukanuba Invitational in Orlando, FL, being held this coming w/e.

December 2-4
Agility Laurie and Pixie were at the Winnegamie KC Agility trial to start their journey in Preferred. Pixie earned legs # 1 & 2 on her NAP with 2nd place in both runs and legs #1 & 2 on her NJP with 1st place in both runs. Janet and Liza were at an Agility trial in MN where Liza earned her 1st QQ on her PACH on Friday!!! (yep--that means she did the teeter!! HOORAY!!) She Q'd in Jumpers today.

Conformation A proud papa brag from Patrick (out of Edythe Ann) with a shout out to Joyce Winkels, as her Ella (Itoba Annie Hall- 7 months) ) was in her first shows this w/e at the Gateway Sporting Dog Association in IL. She went RWB to majors Fri. & Sunday and won her puppy bitch class of 5 all 3 days. On Friday, she went Best ECS Puppy and then went on to Best Puppy in Show!!! Allie (Carefree Itoba The Amazing Race owned by Margaret Kriley) was 4th in her puppy class on Saturday, and 3rd on Sunday.

November 26-27
Agility June & Bess were at an Agility trial at TCOTC in MN, where Bess showed for her 1st time since August and their earned their 1st OAP and OJP legs. Tim & Julie were at trials in Zanesville, OH, and Billy earned the MVP award for the w/e going 6/6. Billy earned his AXP title and earned his first 29 PACH points. He is now in Excellent Preferred in both classes and can start to compete for QQ's towards his PACH title. Speedy showed today and Q'd in Jumpers and earned 7 points. Landon got a Standard and a Jumpers Q and I have to check my notes, but I think 44 points. Connie showed Morgan at an Agility trial in TX, on Saturday--Morgan's 11th Birthday--and earned a Jumpers Q on a very tough course. Jilly competed in California, earned her 2nd Novice Standard leg with a 1st place so now need just 1 Standard and Jumpers leg for titles.

Conformation Amber went Reserve Winners bitch today at the Lake Shore Kennel Club at her 1st AKC shows. "Pat's" daughter, Mona, earned a point today at Tallmadge, OH, shows.

Speedy earned a total of 41 pts. with Q's in Standard.

Then, both moved on to Best Jr. The judged really worked these kids over! thank you Rhonda! Claire come out on top with the Best Junior handler this year with Logan!!!"
